Religious Tension - A Brief Essay
So muslims are very upset about the pope's comments. Surely God wouldn't want people who essentially believe in the same thing (i.e. God himself) fighting against each other. Basically, would God really endorse such hatred against your fellow man? Someone somewhere is falling over with laughter. Ha ha.
Religion is dangerous.

Actually I'll revise what I said.. I think it's more the people who are dangerous, not the religion. They are essentially using it as an excuse to exercise their spite. If there was no religion, I'm sure these people would find some other excuse to fight.
What do you think, readers?

Western Europe spent about 500 years in the dark ages at which point science did not progress becuse our wise religous leader thought it was "devils work" if you add that 500 year R and D back we would be living on the moon or mars or some other cool place

To get away from a world of religious fanatics, for one. Mind you, they would eventually colonise the Moon too. There is no escape.

Hmm, what if they had it right way back when? What if science IS the devil's work?
The concepts of the devil and hell didn't come into play until Christianity appeared. Through fear, people are much easier to control. Coincidence?
