All Serious Again

Well, my attempts to get someone to comment on this blog have thus far failed, but what the heck, I don't care if anyone reads this. I've got something to say, and if noone is listening, then at least there's the chance that in thousands of years time, when mankind has left Earth, aliens may discover my blog on a server buried under rubble somewhere, and say "he certainly had something to say" (although chances of them speaking English are remote).

It's been a while since I've posted something with any depth (or meaning), and so you might think I've got lots to say about the past few months. In fact, I really haven't all that much to share with you (I just realised I've totally contradicted myself). I might as well put the company laptop to use for more than just looking up porn.

I'm still working in East Kilbride for a software company, which is going ok so far. I'm pleased to have stuck it out this long (and 3 months is a long time for me to be in a job); in fact, I'm not far off exceeding my personal best thus far of 4 months.

Actually, I'm quite tired just now, so I'll sleep on it and try to continue this (potentially long) post tomorrow...
